The class 10 pass certificate is a valid date of birth proof.
CBSE board exams will conclude on April 4. The results can be expected in June.
As decided by the Board’s examination committee, a student who has appeared for an improvement examination shall not be issued a separate pass certificate for that subject but will only be issued a separate statement of marks obtained.
A class 10 board examinee who has appeared for an improvement exam will be issued a mark statement cum certificate in that particular subject indicating the result status as “appeared for improvement of performance.” Class 12 students, in this case, will be issued a mark statement, only.
The Board also decides to allow three attempts to compartment candidates to appear for the exam, while candidates who failed will be allowed to appear for the examination next year and practical marks will be carry forwarded.
CBSE may consider conducting practical examination at the theory exam centres from 2020.
Class 10 and 12 board examinees found uploading or sharing examination related material on social media will be dealt in accordance with the Rules for Unfairmeans set by the Board. Before the board exams, the CBSE had advised students and parents to stay away from fake news on social media. Rumors on exam paper leaks spreads confusion and panic among students.
